With all of the new innovations and changes to hockey equipment in the recent year, we thought that it might be a good idea to look at some of the biggest flops in hockey equipment in the past.
This week at NHL Digest, we are going have a series of articles discussing the worst hockey equipment in history. We will go through the equipment piece by piece, identifying the type and model of each piece deserving recognition.
The Hockey Helmet
We know that there have been several different styles of helmets used since they were implemented many moons ago, but we don’t have to go too far back to find the one that takes top honors for its hideous looks and its lack of protection.
