St. Louis Blues
Brad Lee at St. Louis Gametime had the following remarks to sum up the final results for Blackhawk and Canucks fans.
On behalf of the entire St. Louis Blues professional ice hockey organization, we would like to apologize. Sorry for f@$%!ng up the rest of your season and allowing a bunch of greasy, unwashed Nasvhille players to knock your teams out of the post-season.
Boston Bruins
As a Bruins fan, Jaci is starting to freak out!
I turned on NHL Center Ice earlier tonight only to realize the Hockey Gods were not being very nice to the Bruins. So I turned it right off. Ottawa won. The Rangers won and clinched.
Vancouver Canucks
Marty Reasoner and Jarret Stoll scored second-period goals and Dwayne Roloson made 37 saves as the Edmonton Oilers ended Vancouver’s playoff hopes with a 2-1 victory over the Canucks on Thursday night.
Buffalo Sabres
The Sabres, who won the Presidents’ Trophy last year and went to the conference final each of the last two seasons, needed at least one point to keep slim playoff hopes alive. The Sabres, who are now eliminated from playoff contention, had not missed the post season since 2003-2004.
Toronto Maple Leafs
Maclean’s magazine devoted this week’s cover story to Toronto’s 41-year-old Stanley Cup curse, entitled “Why The Leafs Stink,” with the headline stitched inside the team’s logo.
Sweet Dreams
Enjoy my favorite fight video of the week.
Nighty…night says Daniel Carcillo to Krys Barch!
