Bauer One 95 Stick

One of the most used sticks in the National Hockey League today is the new Bauer One95. As the
2008-2009 Season wears on, more and more Nike Bauer sponsored players are switching from the Vapor XXXX and the One90 sticks to the new Bauer One95 stick.
One95 Specifications
The new Supreme One95 is designed with the powerful player in mind. The stick is very rigid in the lower third of the shaft and can withstand substantial loading. The Monocomp technology helps to optimize weight and balance by reducing the need for additional composite at the joints, without sacrificing the integrity and strength of the stick.
The rigidity of the lower portion of the shaft on the One95 offers a low-mid flex, developing additional
energy transfer and increased velocity – especially using the Slapshot. Reduced torsion is accomplished by using the .520 Power Taper that also helps to enable the loading of the stick.
The feel and aesthetics of the stick are highly advanced from the One90 as well. The One95 offers a matte black finish with detailed, but subdued graphics along a double concave shaft to enhance grip and feel. An advanced tactile texture also offers a 10 gram reduction in overall weight versus comparable sticks.
Buying The One95 Stick
The One95 retails for $219.00, but can be found for well under $200.00 online at Total Hockey.net.
Total Hockey also offers free shipping on all orders over $99.00!

im gettin the one95 stick ‘um and tactile withe the usa flag with a malkin curve it is a custom and i used my friends and it has a nice slapshot ability and also gives you more feel fore the puck it is extremely light like th RBK 9k “o” stick

Kevin,
From all accounts the ONE95 Stick ‘Um is a great stick and the new tactile texture is a little less “tacky” than the previous Nike/Bauer Grips which many players found cumbersome.

I got this stick yesterday and used it in two games so far. The stick is great! The new grip is great, the graphics are great, the feel is great, and it loads like a cannon! I have a Stealth cnt and a vapor xxxx as well. The xxxx is a great stick too, but a little weak on the slaps. its kind of a toss up for me…but i will have to give the edge to the one95.

I do not like composite sticks, cause i don’t feel it in my hands. Just there’s something in my hands with the puck on the end of it. I prefer wooden sticks!!!!!!!!!

Vince on Sun, 25th Jan 2009 10:54 pm
Dear Tyler,
I just bought a One 95 stick. I got a Staal curve w/87 flex. It feels incredible. I read on the internet, that because of the new tactile grip, it is 10 grams lighter. What does it weigh?
Thanks,
Vince

Anyone know how it compares in weight to other sticks or how durable? would be very helpful because i’ve chipped the toes on my last two sticks and i seem to be hard on my sticks so i want a durable one.

Snipes on Sat, 5th Sep 2009 10:29 pm

Vince on Mon, 5th Oct 2009 6:47 pm
This is a stellar stick. I spent 240.00 on this stick and it was worth every penny. It’s very lightweight and there’s always a crisp light feeling in the blade because of a special foam they use. Also it is really durable, take my word for it, had it for a year and a half, play at least 4 times a week for AA. The slap shots and wrist shots are very hard. I’ll have to buy a new stick soon unfortunately. Not a durability issue but I beat up on my sticks way too much and it’s due for a replacement. My last one (Vapor XXX) lasted me only a year. I’ll get a new stick for christmas. Good stick still.
aldo on Thu, 15th Oct 2009 12:20 am
I used to think that composite sticks were not as good as wood stick because they didnt feel, shoot and well you know the rest if you have used a wood stick but after buying this stick at hockeymonkey which is the cheapest place (135 dlls total) i have to say that it is a freakin light stick, it feels better than a wood stick! and all shoots (snap, slap, pass, etc) are going where you want! especially if you buy the malkin-blade which is the PM9, looks aggressive with that black color and the cool thing is that the upper part is shinny and the lower part is rough for better gripping. best stick to buy, this stick totally replaced my all time favorite “sherwood volcanex PMPX 9970″!

Verry disapointed broke in the hosel on me in less then one season. i hade the 102 flex and im only 17 and in no way overly strong and i never slamed it or anything im even a wing so it didnt have to sake faceoffs. it hade no major weather changes while it was in one peice it was a great stick though getting a srs done on it now. also broke my one 90 just have bad luck with these sticks.
Conner on Wed, 6th Jan 2010 10:48 am
Go for an SE 16, i thought mine would break right away. It has lasted for awhile now and i like the stick alot
paul on Sat, 16th Jan 2010 1:33 pm

tyler on Tue, 23rd Mar 2010 8:01 am
the one95 is one of the greatest sticks i have ever had i love how it gets a little whippy in the shaft but it doesnt anywhere else
zack on Sat, 27th Mar 2010 1:01 pm
the stick starts out fine but it starts to chip at where the blade meets the ice and eventually cracks through….se sticks are better a little more durable
Tanner on Fri, 28th May 2010 2:40 pm
the One95 is by far the best stick I have ever had. i am 15 and play varsity high school hockey, and this stick improved my shot, hands, passes, and it feels great. I have always used easton sticks before, and the one 95 is wayyy better. i use the malkin curve, and i thought i wouldnt like it but i acually love it!! top cheezz. get the one 95, not se16
nick on Mon, 28th Jun 2010 3:20 pm
