Do The Blackhawks Believe Hossa Is Jinxed?

The Chicago Blackhawks were bound and determined to make an impact on their roster when the free agency market opened this year. They committed to adding some experience by signing veterans John Madden and Tomas Kopecky. They also made some of the biggest news of the day by signing talented, yet bridesmaid-prone, Marian Hossa to a massive 12-year $62.8 million contract.
The Botched Offers
Since then we have come to find out that the Blackhawks may have botched some qualifying offers to several players, including Cam Barker and Kris Versteeg. This paperwork error could conceivably cost the Blackhawks these players by way of ruling them unrestricted free agents, thus open to offers from other teams.
The latest news in this saga indicates that the NHL has concluded their investigation and it is now up to the NHLPA to file a grievance. If the Players Association does not, then the matter will be dropped.
Where is Marian Hossa?
But, as of July 5,2009, the Blackhawks have yet to add Marian Hossa to their roster page. As seen in the screenshot of the Blackhawks roster page below, Chicago has added John Madden and Tomas Kopecky to the roster…but it seems they already believe in the Marian Hossa “Stanley Cup Runner-Up” jinx!

Wow! What a crazy story! Hossa equals Hosed!
He just makes a person wanna cheer against him for bailing on a team “he” played on to go to the opposing team.

If it wasn’t for Dany Heatley, right now Marian Hossa would be getting the most negative press of any NHL player.
