The Boston Bruins announced their 23 player roster today, making the final cuts on a day players had off from practice.
The Team
Your 2007-2008 Boston Bruins are: Manny Fernandez, Tim Thomas, Bobby Allen, Andrew Alberts, Zdeno Chara, Andrew Ference, Mark Stuart, Aaron Ward, Dennis Wideman, P.J. Axelsson, Patrice Bergeron, Brandon Bochenski, Phil Kessel, Chuck Kobasew, David Krejci, Milan Lucic, Glen Metropolit*, Glen Murray, Jeremy Reich, Marc Savard, Peter Schaefer, Marco Sturm, and Shawn Thornton.
* – denotes invitee to camp not under contract… yet.
In The System
Defenseman Matt Hunwick, center Petteri Nokelainen and center Nate Thompson have been assigned to Providence, while winger Jeff Hoggan has been placed on waivers.
If Hoggan clears waivers, he will be sent to Providence.
