The following is the new Calgary Flames jersey for 2007-2008. This official jersey was released September 4, 2007 in Calgary at Flames Central at 1:30 P.M.

I don’t like the Gold stripes on the sleeves…I don’t mind it on the body though.

I personaly think its very nice to tell you the truth. maybe not the best ever made tho.. but still a very nice jersey. yeah the gold bits on the arms are a bit iffey. but other than that its nice.

I must say that I like the idea of the flags on the shoulders. A bit of Canadian pride, something we don’t get to see often enough. As for the whole idea of these “revolutionary” hi tech jerseys….well lets just say that it looks like a cash grab to me. We’ll have to wait to the All Star break to see how much faster they can skate in them. As for keeping the players dryer, the way I see it, it is not sweat that makes the jerseys get wet, it all the water they spray on themselves on the bench.
