Canada vs. Russia:World Junior Hockey Brawl

In today’s edition of NHL Digest we are brining you the biggest brawl in International Hockey History! In the 1987 World Junior Hockey Championships, complete chaos ensues when Canada and Russia take part in a bench clearing brawl.
In their infinite wisdom, the referees leave the ice and the arena staff turn off the lights trying to control the madness. It has been said that when the lights were turned out, Theoren Fleury had a stick-swining hayday chopping down several Russian players.
Judge for yourself, but this has to be right up there with the 1972 Summit Series as the most violent International Hockey event in history.
Enjoy!

I read years, ago the “Hammer Dave Schultzs”book and recently
the Hockey book When the lights went out the book, about this,Canda VS.Russia Hockey Brawl.its an intresting sport subject,But I’ve been a US Hockey fan for years, and there is no
need for Stupied brawrls in sports in any league. In my opion.
I love the UFC,and Martial arts. Boxing alright thats great.
But I’m glad the IIHF did something to stop internatinal Hockey Brawls 30 years since is without one,is greate.Same with the NHL,bench-clearing brawls after all these yeares they came to the senses to stop it.Now the new Khl Russian/Cis league must stop bench -clering brawls.
