Like most Sports Fans, we aren’t thinking too much about the NHL today as the Patriots look to complete an undefeated season in the NFL with a win in the Super Bowl today.
Here’s a little something to give you a hockey fix before the big game begins.
It was one year ago today on NHL Digest when we showed you Colby Armstrong’s hit on Saku Koivu…which would have garnered a harsh suspension this season – especially if Armstrong happened to play for the Flyers!
We also showed you the longest goal ever scored in the history of NCAA Hockey as UND’s Robbie Bina scored on Jeff Frazee of the University of Minnesota from about 170 feet!
Enjoy the Superbowl!
