Last night on Hockey Night in Canada, Don Cherry came up with a great idea to remove all hits to the head in the National Hockey League. He also talked about Tom Preissing and Brian Campbell’s little love connection during the brawl last Saturday night.
I agree with Cherry that Toronto should have done somthing about the Tomas Kaberle hit right away instead of whining after the game.
Guess what? They brought up two more of my favorite subjects; no touch icing and the Ryan Smyth trade! Enjoy the video.

PLEASE GOD SOMEONE GET THIS!
lt is March 14, and l have just witnessed another pathetic fist brawl between the Leafs and Calgary. SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME what kind of sadistic humans beings are we? The world we live in now is rapid with gang violence, drugs, and a life saturated in materialism and technology. l ask you, is this really what we want to convey to the next generation of young men particulary that if you hit someone on the street, you will be charged with assault. Yet, we CONTINUE to breed the visual disgrace of men in sport, and the consequence is to sit on the bench, with “TIME OUT”. We have a responsibility to the next generation to STOP THIS NOW. What will it take? Let the REAL MEN who make these decisions set an example for young men, and let’s get back to the game of HOCKEY!

We believe that it would be a good idea if all NHL canadian hockey teams wear a poppy logo on their hockey jerseys the week prior to remembrance day. Knowing the patriotic person that you are I am sure you would agree. If you do then is there anything you can do to make this happen?
