Eric Godard Crushes Eric Boulton

Early in the Thrashers vs. Flames game this evening, immediately after the Flames scored a powerplay goal, Eric Godard and Eric Boulton fought.
Godard landed quite a few punches to Boulton’s face, resulting in a bloody nose for the smaller Boulton. As the Sportsnet announcers commented, “It was a picnic for Eric Godard”. It wasn’t quite as good as when Godard beat up Derek Boogaard, but it was a clean win for the youngster nevertheless.
