Flyers Sign Biron to Extension

The Philadelphia Flyers announced that they have signed 6’3”, 175-pound goaltender Martin Biron to a two-year contract extension, according to General Manager Paul Holmgren.Biron, 29, has registered a 16-9-2 record, 3.01 goals-against average and .904 save percentage in 29 games this season for the Buffalo Sabres and the Flyers. He has posted a 4-5-1 record, 2.96 GAA and .913 save percentage in 10 games for the Flyers.
