I would like to try the blade tape because I am very cheap, and it lasts 10-12 ice sessions. I am also interested to see if it can make a stone handed D-man like me handle the puck better.

Would love to win and try some Blade Tape. I’m tired of re-taping up my stick every other game.

There are a multitude of reasons I want to try blade tape.
    1) Because Willie Mitchell loves it! (I had no idea who he was, but he’s my favorite player now.)
    2) Most of my gear is from the 90’s and I need something to get locker room comments that don’t involve how ghetto my gear looks. Blade Tape would be the shiniest “gear” I have.
    3) So I can pimp how NHLDigest.Com is the pimpiest nhl blog out there.

Thanks for the contest and keep up the great work on the great blog!

I would love to try the blade tape… I would not have to tape my stick as often as I do.. it would sure make everything a lot easier.. and cheaper.

I would love some blade tape because it seems like a good alternative to tape!

  8. Luke on Mon, 17th Dec 2007 4:58 pm

I WANNA TRY THE TAPE! It seems like it just might be worth it!

  9. Jay on Mon, 17th Dec 2007 5:13 pm

I want to try blade tape to see if it provides more cushioning on my composite blade without adding the weight of a heavy tape job.

  10. h88ch on Mon, 17th Dec 2007 6:25 pm

    just wanna try it out
If it helps Willie Mitchell score one goal a year – it must be able to work miracles ;)

Seems like it might work on the street plus it’s convenient and easy.

I would like to get this tape. I coach a kids team where i live and have only seen this tape once before. I would like to try this or have some for my son to try.

  13. Light Da Lamp on Tue, 18th Dec 2007 12:25 am

I would like to try the blade tape as my shot sucks now and I can blame my tape job for not giving me a consistent shot. With new blade tape then I will have a better shot and no more excuses.

Oh yeah, it looks cool too. Current point total 2 assists in 6 games in my Gold ice league. Bring it on Blade Tape, the stats are there and they don’t lie. Can you get a goal?

  14. jill on Tue, 18th Dec 2007 1:42 am

I’m a goalie and I’d love to try Blade Tape. It sounds easier and more convenient.

  15. Stephen on Tue, 18th Dec 2007 2:12 am

I would love to try the blade tape because I am possibly one of the worlds worst stick tapers, and this would make me that look that much LESS foolish (at least until I hit the ice. Then all bets are off.)

  16. Dare on Tue, 18th Dec 2007 3:46 am

I would like to try Blade Tape because the traditional tape I use inevitably gets a huge slash or gouge in it somewhere around the first to third shift I play in a game…which really, defeats the purpose of having taped it at all. And hey, who doesn’t like trying out something new?

  17. Marc on Tue, 18th Dec 2007 9:15 am

My son plays rep hockey, so it’s the perfect gift to get him hooked, and to influence his teammates!

  18. Carlos on Tue, 18th Dec 2007 5:15 pm

Blade tape? Cool. Friend of mine has it and loves it. And it would totally lengthen the life of my stick! And i love to ssee the look on my brother’s face when i roof the puck over his shoulder to score in our league hockey games… ha.

  19. Sean on Tue, 18th Dec 2007 6:56 pm

I’m sick of taping my stick every game.

  20. tyler on Sat, 22nd Dec 2007 12:10 am

I love blade tape it is awsome if u dont like taping your stick every game and they are about to get goalie blade tape as well.

  21. Bemino on Sun, 23rd Dec 2007 1:24 pm

I re-tape my stick every game, i would love to try blade tape to see if it helps me with puck control, and i like to dangle and play with the puck so it could be a welcome change.

  22. mike on Tue, 8th Jan 2008 8:23 pm

I tried blade tape for the first time and immediatly thought this stuff grips the puck too much. It took about two shifts to get used to the new feel and now I”ll never use traditional tape again. You can use one hand to stab your stick at passes too far ahead and suck the puck up like a vacuum!

It’s one of those great inventions that leaves you saying “why didn’t anyone think of this before?”

Great job folks…..I’m spreading the word……!

i would love to try blade tape it looks very durable and could be very interesting to use. I would be the only one on my hockey team probly the only one in my whole hockey league. im begging my dad to get me some but he abviously isnt so i love to try it for you guys.

  24. noah schneier on Fri, 16th May 2008 4:29 pm

i want to try bladetape because the idea of having a bare composite blade is a good idea and would probibly work well with my slapshot which is pretty fast for a person my age i am 13 ys. old and my shot is a little over 80 mph. and that is on a taped composite shaft and i use a vapor xxxx and i love it and mabye i could love it a little more with blade tape

  25. Muchen on Sat, 28th Feb 2009 2:16 pm
