Hockey NewsI think it is about time to review what the best of the hockey blogs are talking about these days.  There are a lot of great blogs out there as we found out when Paul constructed his massive list of hockey sites a few days ago.

Let’s take a closer look at some of the stories that the hockey bloggers are picking up.

I’ve been talking about the some of the equipment the NHL players are wearing, but it wasn’t that long ago when we saw the worst hockey equipment ever made!

Behind the Jersey takes a look at NHL Ticket Prices, noting that even the all you can eat buffets that are included in the lower bowl NJ Devils tickets next year won’t make up for the 114% increase in prices.

The Calgary Flames blog profiles Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights goaltender Curtis McElhinney, who may feel like he’s slipping through the cracks among Calgary’s stellar goaltending depth chart that includes Kiprusoff, Leland Irving and Brent Krahn.

A fan journeys from Whistler to Vancouver to see a Canucks game. The video is made by a fan as part of the ultimate Canucks fan contest on Canucks.com.

Off Wing Opinion says Kolzig is back practicing and that the latest Caps practice only consisted of four players.  He also included a video of the practice for viewing.

Pens Insider says that Kansas City has sweetened the deal for the Penguins, promting Lemieux and  company to cancel thier trip to Houston.

Blindsight concludes that the National Post “Sucks the Big One” due to their lack of accurate reporting of the Tomas Kaberle injury.  Apparently the National Post is the only  source that says Kaberle is out for the season.  Here is the Cam Janssen Hit on Tomas Kaberle, in case you missed it (Or want to see it one more time)!

Joe Pelletier has added a new channel to the Legends of Hockey Network. hockeybooks.blogspot.com offers him a chance to share some of his favorite hockey books.  I encourage everyone to check out Joe’s network.

On Frozen Blog flexes some business mind muscle and offers up the charge that league’s marketing plan is terrible.  I must agree that the product is spectacular and the sheer speed and entertainment value is unrivaled in any other major sport.
