With all the hype around the league about the new RBK Edge Jerseys, On Frozen blog took a look at some of the most hideous jerseys they could find.

I personally would have enjoyed seeing the St. Louis Blues wear the “Trumpet Jersey”. I’m sure that they would still be begging fans to come back to the arena. I must agree that not allowing the team to wear those disgusting jerseys might be one of the smartest things that Mike Keenan ever did!
Las Vegas casino giant, Harrah’s Entertainment, announced Wednesday it is partnering with AEG to build a 20,000-seat arena capable of housing an NBA or NHL team. I’m betting Vegas gets franchises for both sports by 2012…any takers?
According to The Hockey News, the Montreal Canadiens will miss the playoffs again this season, finishing 13th in the Eastern Conference. Only the Bruins and Islanders are predicted to do worse.
For those interested in seeing the returning Stanley Cup Champions, individual tickets for the Ducks’ four preseason home games will go on sale this Saturday, August 25 at 10 a.m. Tickets may be purchased online at AnaheimDucks.com. They may also be purchased by calling Ticketmaster.
For all of you goalie mask freaks out there, Montreal’s Cristobal Huet has a great new mask design for this season. I’m concerned that the goalie depicted on the mask does not have eyes…I hope this is not an indication of Huet’s play for the upcoming season!
