Is Mats Sundin The Best Maple Leaf Ever?

There has been some argument in hockey circles as to whether or not Mats Sundin is, in fact, the best Toronto Maple Leaf in history.
I am perfectly comfortable with this notion, but I know there are a few elder statesmen out there who will certainly disagree with me. The following is a compilation video of some of the greatest moments in the career of Mats Sundin.
Take a few minutes to view the video and leave a comment as to whether you believe Sundin could be the greatest Toronto Maple Leaf in history.

I have no problems ranking Sundin higher than any other Leaf in the modern era, aside from Dave Keon, Johnny Bower and maybe Frank Mahovlich. Sittler sure, Gilmour sure, Clark sure. But no one ever thinks back to that 1940s juggernaut which feature Syl Apps, Max Bentley and Teeder Kennedy. For me, those guys and Keon and Bower are in my top 5 Leafs of all time!

Joe,
I was hoping that you would comment on this one!
I’m a little too young to have witnessed the likes of Keon, Bower and Mahovolich…but my Dad tore into me when I mentioned that Sundin might be the best Leaf ever.
Thanks for the comment Joe!

A great Video for a great Player!!! Definately one of the best videos I’ve ever seen, Sundin deserves to be in the Hall of Fame, he isn’t there yet, but he is one of the best Leafs ever.
