I agree, the Montreal Canadiens jersey should be sacred and untouchable!
I think that the entire original six should maintian their colors and styles for tradition sake.

I like the new RBK Edge stuff but still, the Habs are the Habs.no one could take that away from us.By the way, the white one is alot nicer than the red one. GO HABS GO!!!

I actually like it. It’s quite different, but it still has the essentials (The stripes). The logo is still there, it’s time for change, LIVE WITH IT!

Is it just me, or do all these jerseys look like practice uniforms?

Seriously…. that is the worst photoshop take I’ve seen so far.
And I’ve seen some terrible looking ones.
    Theses are NOT happening.

Whoever designed those jerseys should be shot. Don’t touch “La Sainte Flanelle.”

Absolutely horrid! Basically Reebok is saying that they couldn’t care less about tradition. I hope the Canadiens organization has the guts to say no to crap like this.

People have too realize, this is only a concept, and based on some of the concepts I’ve seen compared too the real jerseys (Boston, Washington), These won’t be happining. and if they do,theres no one to get mad at but the Montreal Canadiens them self, they would be the ones designing them. Now, I’m all for change but, lets hope it ends up like how the bruins changed they’res, minimal.

This is atrocious. Every single one of the new jerseys I’ve seen are absolutely awful. I read in The Hockey News that no player has ever complained about getting too wet in a game, and the wind resistance slowing them down. These designs I’ve seen are ugly and all the vertical lines on the arms look stupid. Gary Bettman is ruining the game for a lot of fans.

I don’t mind change, the thing about the new uniforms is that they have the cookie cutter format and lacks the creativity the original uniforms have. If you’re going to try something go all out seems like a brutal way to boost jersey sales. Reebok dropped the ball in the CFL 9 teamss and they used 2 patterns, cheap and a insult to the organizations and to the fans, and shame on the league for accepting it.The NBA has went the same route with Addias, look at the warm ups. It’s pretty sad when all the teams end up looking the same because it’s cost effective

I hate the Habs, always will, but will always respect the legacy of greatness. Don’t mess with tradition. Let the idiot NHL newbie teams mess around with hockey jerseys that look stupid but the original Six should be mandated to stand pat. Show some respect.

wow these are only ideas based on what fans thought they might be so stop getting bent outta shape over a concept. second montreal doesnt let rbk design there own jersey, like you people are idiots ofcorse montreal and rbk work TOGETHER to design a jersey. and yes the original 6 teams should keep the same jerseys and judging by what boston, new york and detroit have done thats probably the leagues intention… why dont you think this through next time

I don’t like the NHL logo on the neck of all the new jerseys.

So has anyone taken a look at the vintage third jersey of the habs. I love that jersey, I mean its not my favourite but that would be what you call a radical change. The only change I see that Rbk has made is in the neck and I’m not a big fan but come on folks. They didnt touch the colours, they didn’t tough the crest, and they didn’t end up looking like bloody soccer jerseys. I will say that the whole wind resistance stay dry “technology” is a load of bs though.

I totally agree that the original six should not be touched. Being a diehard Canadians fan the jersey should be sacred and untouchable!

The Italian national soccer team (Kappa) came up with this tight fit look, after this Nike started to manufacture tight fits for the national hockey teams.
Dont get me wrong, I dont wanna say the European-soccer-look sucks, but it does when you force it in North American hockey which has its own proud history in apparel, too bad Gary Bettman is the kinda idiot letting this happen, he only thinks about money.
Im very dissapointed, lucky me I just got a new “old style” Rangers blueshirt, looks like I won`t be buying a new hockey jersey for a while. The tight fit and logo on the collar, its butt ugly.
