With the trade deadline looming, all of the talk seems to be on the salary cap and the rumored trades around the league.
I thought it would be nice to take a look at the teams and see which teams are the best and worst off in terms of their concrete values as a business. Here is the list of teams and their values as calculated by Forbes Magazine.
There really aren’t a whole lot of surprises, other than Chicago coming in at #12 while playing in an empty building every night. It is also interesting to note that New Jersey’s operating income is the second lowest in the league behind the New York Islanders.
