Nike Bauer Vapor XXXX SkatesFor those of you who haven’t seen or heard of the new Nike Bauer Vapor SFL XXXX Skates, they are about to be available. Rumor has it that they be available in June 2007 and will retail at about $699.99 CDN.
They look very similar to the Flexlite 12’s with the TUUK Lightspeed 2 and stainless steel blade. The Vapor XXXX’s also feature a full carbon outsole and the patented light weight insta-form ankle pads.
Nike Bauer consistently steps up to the plate with innovations in skate design, comfort and performance. Let’s hope that the SFL Vapor XXXX can live up to the legacy that Nike Bauer has set for themselves. They may have lost some loyal users to the New Reebok RBK 9K Pump Skate or their own Bauer One90 Skates.
You can check out this picture of the new Vapor XXXX Stick being used by Eric Cole.

We suggest that you get your new Vapor XXXX skates from Hockey Giant.com for the best deal.

  3. Parker18 on Thu, 11th Jan 2007 4:36 pm

When is the exact date you can purchace them?

  4. Tyler on Thu, 11th Jan 2007 9:13 pm

    Greetings fellas!
I am not sure where you can buy them and I am not sure on the exact date of availability.
I would think that they would be available to all Canadian retailers by Mid-march considering that they were introduced to the major leagues (WHL, QMJHL, OHL, AHL, NHL etc.) in December 2006.
If you have any more information on this, please drop me an e-mail!
    Have a good one,
    Tyler

    they’re  really ugly man

  7. ron on Tue, 16th Jan 2007 9:15 am

They are a nice skate but to much like the old nike skates for me but based on looks I think the xxx’s look better… have too see them in a store to decide which are better.

  8. Bob on Tue, 16th Jan 2007 7:17 pm

the vapour series was the best series around..now they just had to go ruin it..with these ugly pieces

  9. Brent Antolik on Wed, 17th Jan 2007 4:14 pm

That guy is right, they went on and ruined it, I mean even if they had a different design as XXXlite’s I mean XXXX isn’t even a Roman numeral, 40 in greek is L.
These skates look to be the same texture as the vapor xx’s,I have them , I’ve been playing in competitive travel hockey , this season and they are very weak, I have rips evrywhere, not a durable skate. They should have copied Easton’s carbon fiber shell, its a new design and it’s what players look at because the fabric vapor xxxx’s ,xxx’s,and xx’s are made of are not durable at all. Bauer’s or Easton’s dont go for any other company ccm’s , graf’s,mission’s all suck. I suggest the Bauer Vapor XXX’s, this is the most durable of the bauer’s. Or the Easton Synergy series. The one 90’s are over priced as well, I said that in a pro shop once about those skates and the retailer said that too. If u have ever read it, since the One90’s are one piece, the retailer told me that if your skate gets stepped on hard enough the one 90 skate’s back will fall OFF, talk about $650 wasted.

  10. dangles on Wed, 17th Jan 2007 5:26 pm

“XL” is forty in roman numerals….. not “L”

  11. griff on Wed, 17th Jan 2007 7:43 pm

    they come out in june

  12. Tyler on Wed, 17th Jan 2007 10:46 pm

    Griff,
Thanks for the update on the availability date.

    Dangles,
I was concerned about the Roman numerals as well. Thank you for the correction!

  13. bradley on Thu, 18th Jan 2007 4:38 pm

how can you say those are nice???!!!! oh well i’m not goin for style points. if they perform well ill get them..but i agree with “Brent Antolik”..they dont seem durable at all

ps. i find it saddening that nike is taking over bauer :’(

  18. codie on Sat, 20th Jan 2007 3:45 pm

btw..does anyone have the specs on them?

    thanks!

    how much????

  20. hockey kid on Tue, 23rd Jan 2007 5:38 pm

i bet u that they will be the lightest most durable skate out there…and i dont like that nike and bauer joined either nike has a weird style

  21. dale on Tue, 23rd Jan 2007 11:29 pm

I think that nikebauer is getting to fancy with their skates, the XX’s and XXX’s were sweet skates and then they make these XXXX’s and they look just like the nike Lites, and all there skates are getting way to flashy bring back the XX’s and XXX style!

  22. Bob on Wed, 24th Jan 2007 7:05 pm

I agree with dale..bring back the XX’s and XXX’s I have the XXX’s right now and they are the greatest skates I’ve ever had and my buddy has the XX’s and now that they are changing the skates he doesn’t want to buy new skates becuase of it. I much rather the XXX’s style over any new skate coming out

  23. Vapor Lover on Wed, 24th Jan 2007 10:43 pm

All these guys are right about this skate it is an ugly skate that is pulling toward the Nike style. They should stick to the Bauer side bauer is a the best brand out for hockey the should really remodel this skate!

  24. hockeyisgood on Fri, 26th Jan 2007 12:17 pm

if they’re over $800.00 i prolly wont buy them

  25. Scott on Fri, 26th Jan 2007 3:30 pm

these saktes are very nice but if they are over $800.00 i will not be bying them becuase i think that is overpriced

  26. Sean Smith on Fri, 26th Jan 2007 7:16 pm

  30. Curtis "Bauer Lover" on Sun, 28th Jan 2007 7:16 pm

When i heard about new vapour skates coming out i was so exciting, then when i saw them i almost puked. these skates look like crap. i’ve worn the xxx’s and have the one 90’s right now and they both look great and feel great. making new bauer skates look like old nike’s is just wrong.

  33. mansom on Mon, 29th Jan 2007 3:58 pm

im very disappointed in the change in looks they hav made in these xxxx s . i loved the looks of the xxx and xx. i will probs get a pare of these skates as igo through ska8s like hell. i have already worn away 3 pairs of one90s and many people in the world have had the same problem …. we shall just have to wait to see what these are like on the ice no doubt they will be the sweetest thing to sk8 in ull ever feel

  34. Cole Borchardt on Mon, 29th Jan 2007 5:50 pm

I think these skates look really cool. I can’t wait to try them when they come out.

I’m surprised so many people are saying so many negative things about the skates when they haven’t seen them in person or actually tried them out. These will be the same people who end up getting the skates after all the cool people start wearing them! Never fails!

  35. Alex on Tue, 30th Jan 2007 12:10 pm

The Vapor xxxx’s Look alot diffrent then the xxx’s and the xx’s, but are still very nice. I was just wondering if they where going to sell them in junior and how much they where.
    Please email me back thanks

  36. Fabio on Wed, 31st Jan 2007 12:04 am

if i were them i would change the color scheme alittle differnt maybe red or green inlets instead of white..and change the name to xxxlite..and to finish off some new runners maybe they can figure out something new with tuuk and make a new design these are getting kinda old but still are good. i would definatly buy them

  37. Tom on Wed, 31st Jan 2007 8:09 pm

xxx’s forvever! These xxxx’s look awful. We’d all better go buy another pair of xxx’s before they stop producing them like they did with the xx’s.

  38. Devine on Thu, 1st Feb 2007 2:56 am

I work at a proshop and our rep came by last week. We will be retailing them at $549.95. We sell ONE90’s at $595.95 if that gives any point of reference.

  43. hunter on Sun, 4th Feb 2007 8:52 pm

the xxxx’s have way to much silver.
its stupid the way they look like the nike flex lites.
i personaly think that nike should have never been a hockey company. They are messing up bauer. I have the xxx’s right now and used to have the xx’s. They are some pretty sick skates! These skates are way to shiny and flashy. its stupid. they make you a target. Bauer alone is way better than nike-bauer!

  44. Charles on Sun, 4th Feb 2007 10:53 pm

  50. Liam on Wed, 7th Feb 2007 11:29 pm

Let me preface this by saying that I am a long time user and afficionado of Bauer equipment. The vapor line has definitely shifted towards the nike design. I am deeply disappointed with these skates. My hopes were set high. The price is also far too steep and no skate is good enough to cost 700 some odd dollars. Im going to check out the RBK 9k pumps. Anybody have reviews for them.

  51. nick on Sat, 10th Feb 2007 9:21 pm

they are going to be around 550$ but i know some places are willing to lose money in the start to keep the product moving off the shelf and in the long run make more $ so they will be selling them for around 450$

  52. nick on Sat, 10th Feb 2007 9:33 pm

also i wish these came with white tongues cuz that would be dir- TAYYYYYYYYYYYY when i go tongues out!

who would waste there money on them

  66. Derek on Thu, 22nd Feb 2007 7:09 pm

I am an Easton skate buyer. I love easton’s. The feel good and they hold up very well. Bauer’s coming out with this is just embarrassing. These skates look terrible. I would rather have the XXX’s or XX’s. The look is not cool at all. You would think that the makers would come out with something that looks new, but they come out with something that looks like the old nike quest’s. The makers should be ashamed of themselves.

  67. Chris on Thu, 22nd Feb 2007 9:15 pm

  74. snipeall on Tue, 27th Feb 2007 9:47 am

I have the Vapor 19’s and they are my favorite skate. I was really anticipating a really awesome skate, but these are just ugly. I would never buy these. I think they are an embarassment to bauer.

  77. Eric on Tue, 27th Feb 2007 3:10 pm

I love these skates. I don’t care for the look but the are a good skate that will proably last just as long as my XXX skates did when I had them. But it is a shame that bauer is more and more turning into a nike sytle of skate.

  78. frainc on Wed, 28th Feb 2007 5:55 pm

Did anybody told Nike Bauer that “40″ is not “XXXX” in Roman numeral ? I mean, I’m not against naming the whole brand with roman numerals but … at least do it right.
Maybe I’m just wrong at the skate is supposed to be called the “vapor four x” but I haven’t heared that name from any rep for now…
not really professional if you want my advice.

  83. Lex Payne on Thu, 1st Mar 2007 12:07 am

I am a 29-year old female hockey player and a fan of the vapor 20s & 30s. For those who are fans, you can pre-order yours there. But when I first saw the pic of the skates, I was extremely disappointed. I had to take a HARD look at them to realize they are also Vapors! I absolutely agree with those that say they look too much like the Nike flex skates and I think they made these look like a step down to the XXXs. But I wont judge based on looks. If I see too many disappointing comments about the quality of these skates like the ONE90s, then I look forward to buying another pair of XXXs before they run out! I already am headed in that direction since they are the last pair of high end skates Bauer made before Nike took over. PS I wear a size 4 junior skate and found out that the 40s cost $399 for junior sizes.

  84. isidro martinez on Thu, 1st Mar 2007 12:36 am

I got my vapor xxxx when i went to the pee-wee tournament in quebec.. they are awesome i am for sure the first mexican to have them.. but they are pretty expensive.. but up to now i hope they last because the blade of the vapor xxx brake very fast

  86. Lex Payne on Fri, 2nd Mar 2007 6:08 pm

  92. Brandon M on Mon, 5th Mar 2007 11:18 pm

These skates are hideous!!! Bauer is almost transforming into Nike. Its brutal because vapor was doing so good with the xx’s and xxx’s and they had to ruin it with these ugly skates. Very disappointed!

  93. Lex Payne on Tue, 6th Mar 2007 1:34 am

what the hey, I’ll gladly stick with getting another pair of XXXs! I’ve been through enough pairs of skates to know these are the best I’ve ever owned.
Too bad my dress shoes aren’t as comfortable as those skates!

  94. RYAN M on Tue, 6th Mar 2007 3:50 pm

    XXX’S are way better looking

  95. tony on Tue, 6th Mar 2007 4:17 pm

Personally I think they are so so, but I am sure they will cost a bundle (599.00 jr), as for durability you are 100% correct my boy (10yrs) has the vapor xxx and they are finished used for about 1 year and a half, but he likes the fit , tried other skates was not comfortable, tried the one 90’s and still not good so offered the xxx too him but prefers waiting till the xxxx come out sometime in june was told…… whats up with the roman numerals, xl equals 40 in my country . have a nice one boys ciao…..

  96. tony on Tue, 6th Mar 2007 4:25 pm

I just puchased a pair of one 90’s (2 months)and they are extreamely light and comfortable, they are the best skates ever, as for the xxxx’s I would think they are the same as the 90’s, the look is different of course….

  97. josh on Wed, 7th Mar 2007 7:55 pm

i agrre with all you guys th xxx’s were the best and these skates just dont compare

  98. josh on Wed, 7th Mar 2007 8:04 pm

yeah these skates look way too much like nikes. I think nike is just trying to take over bauer because the XX and XXX were way better

  99. Steven on Thu, 8th Mar 2007 3:00 pm

Why does this article state bauer is loosing customers to reebok. I think putting pumps into skates is dumb and that they are getting shoes and skates mixed up. These skates look ok, i guess. One problem I’ve always had with vapor is they are so narrow to me, I hope they change.

  100. Dayne ELLISON on Thu, 8th Mar 2007 5:03 pm

I like the vapor xxxx but I want them to be out in stores now cause my xxx are way to small for me so i am waiting for the skate

  101. Marcus on Fri, 9th Mar 2007 2:46 pm

Wow those are the ugliest skates ever. they look like pieces of poop. Who ever i see wearing them I will probably hurt them.

  102. Tom on Sat, 10th Mar 2007 10:23 am

Does anyone know if they’re going to stop making the xxx’s any time soon? Is there some place we can contact to ask them this question? I’m pretty sure I’m going to need a new pair of xxx’s if this is what Vapor is going to look like from now on.

  103. franky on Sat, 10th Mar 2007 9:38 pm

    oh yeah!
wath’s up with the xxxx, are nike bauer retarted or something, seriously man somebody call them before they make some skates with no blades!

  104. Chris on Sat, 10th Mar 2007 11:35 pm

Well, for all you people that think these skates are stupid, they’re about 10 times more comfortable that the Vapor XXX’s. Yes, i’ve tried them on at the MN Hockey Expo. The toe cap is more padded, the ankle flex’s with your movement, and they’re twice as light at the XXX’s. Suppose to retail at $550 US, and ship to stores on May 1.

We all agree that company’s are trying too make skates and all other stuff atractive too the eye’s of the kids, as for the comfort I am sure they will be , don’t forget, it is all about the look for kids , and the $$$$$ for the companys ,unfortunatly.Growing up we did not care about the look of skates we cared about the game!and next season I am sure there will be something else that will come out to capture kids attention………MARKETING!!!!!!!!!!

  110. sean on Wed, 14th Mar 2007 10:02 pm

i’ve had the xx’s, xxx’s and the one90’s. the xx’s fell apart way to fast, the xxx’s were fine but i didn’t have them that long to find any problems with them. and the 90’s blade holder was way to long for me, they are built more for power skaters and not quick shifty ones. so if these xxxx’s are a good skate i’ll probably get a pair. ugly or not. performance 1st, looks 2nd. but what do i know i’m only a bantam. my dad owns the store so all i do is tell him whats comfy and light and i walk out of his store with a nikebauer box in my hands.

  111. frank on Thu, 15th Mar 2007 10:49 am

The skates are maybe not looking that good. but they will probably do a hell of a job. Nike Bauer has been working on them for ages and upgraded them like crazy. They got the vapor xxx and now thye xxxx so they took the bad stuff from the other skate and made it real good for the vapor xxxx. They are going to be amazing in your feet. It’s not the outside, it’s how god dame comfortable they are.

Yeah, I said I wasn’t impressed with them at first either, but they’re growing on me after seeing them in action. I do like the look of the xxx’s more, but these aren’t so bad now I guess. And regardless of the look of these, I’m sure they’ll have fantastic performance on ice.

  122. Dom on Sat, 24th Mar 2007 7:28 pm

No, they’re not. They are being used by Pro athletes and from what I’ve seen, also in the CIS (University Hockey), but they’re not out for sale yet to the general public; only these pro athletes and university athletes whose teams are sponsored by Nike Bauer have the chance to wear them before they’re released. Nike Bauer also gave some demo pairs away at different hockey conventions… other than that, there’s no way you can buy them right now. They are being released by Nike Bauer in May. The Nike Bauer official web site will back that up.

XXX’s break down in less than 2 years maybe less depending on the amount you skate.

I’ve really enjoyed the XXXs and XXs when I bought them, and first impressions say alot on a skate. They lost me at XXXX instead of the proper numeral XL and the tacky Nike design. If they wanted to make these skates a step-up from the XXXs, they shouldnt be screaming poor Nike design. Im happy with the XXXs and look forward to getting another pair. Bauer obviously had a good run when you see even a few pros still wear the X series. If worse comes to worst and BOTH of my pair of XXXs fall apart, then I will look forward to buying a sleek pair of Grafs!

  138. Josh on Sun, 8th Apr 2007 5:56 pm

NikeBauer eqiupment sucks. Graf 700 & G series skates are much better. So are CCM and Easton sticks much better than NikeBauer. Ever since Nike took over Bauer, their equipment has gotten worse. Cool looks but, quality is horrible.

  139. carl on Mon, 9th Apr 2007 12:38 pm

  141. Rick on Wed, 11th Apr 2007 5:54 pm

I agree with Josh Ever since Nike took over Bauer, their equipment has gotten worse. I hate the fact that Nike is in hockey they should take their name off the Bauer and stop tainting the brand name. I think their skates look like crap (the new XXXX is no exception). Nike should do hockey a favor and just sell Bauer so they get back to making hockey skates and not a fashion statement. Old school players like a clean and simple design. Nike how about figure skates??? Maybe a specialty line with sequins>

  168. t on Thu, 5th Jul 2007 9:16 pm

i don’t quite understand all of the hype of bauer and rbk skates. everybody is talking aobut durability and such and now, apparently a skate that lasts two years is a durable skate. you have to be kidding me. if you buy graf skates, they will last you at least double the time as a bauer or rbk skate. and plus, the new graf g5 is the same weight as the xxxx. it will last longer than the xxxx and they cost just a little less. im tired of “fad skates” its just a popularity contest for these companies now. keep it real, go with something that will out perform andl outlast the competition. Graf.

Holy christ, I came on this site to read about how well the skates perform not how they look! I’m a girl and even I could give a rat’s ass as to how they look. It’s hockey, so long as they’re not pink, who gives a crap? How differently do they perform in compared to the XXX’s . . . are they lighter, more flexible, do you go faster, does the tongue give you lace bite (my XXX’s were brutal for that)? Come on boys, stop acting like a bunch of bloody run-way models and share the goods.

  177. bob on Sat, 1st Sep 2007 10:05 pm

I suggest the stealth S15 they are comfy, lite, and have great ankle support.

(P.S.)the one 90’s suck they hurt ur feet so bad if u tie them tight

  178. ken on Sat, 15th Sep 2007 5:35 pm

I agree with the woman (Pia). I also wanted to know how it preforms. After reading these ridiculous reviews, I became frustrated . Scrolled to the bottom of page to only read the same thing. I have eyes and can see how ’sweet’ it looks. I want to know the specs and preformance. Unless there is another site that has reviews (if not, please leave it here), I hope people will leave their satisfaction with this skate here.

  179. pia on Sat, 22nd Sep 2007 2:03 am

I bought the skates and have been skating in them at least three to four days a week for the last month. Verdict: I love them and they are worth every Canadian penny. The boot is ultra comfortable, no pain or blisters ever. No lace bite . . . thank god! The boot is nice and stiff; took a hard slap shot to the side of the foot the other day and it hardly hurt. The boot’s quality overall is a great improvement from the XXX’s, both in terms of durability (so far) and fit. My XXX’s, even though I couldn’t go a size smaller, felt too loose around the ankles, yet too tight around the arch. Obviously no one has the same feet, but for myself, the XXXX’s give a much nicer, customized fit. I did get the blades profiled because I found them to be a little to tippy for my skating style. When purchased they were a 7′ radius, I got them profiled to a 10′ radius with a 1/2″ hollow. With a 10′ radius I did sacrifice a bit on mobility for things such as sharp turns, but it’s nothing major and the improvements I got iin speed and stability made it all worth it and more. In the end it’s a personal thing where it all comes down to your skating needs and style.
If the skates feel good in the shop when trying them on, I think most will really enjoy them on the ice. I’ve had them for over a month and I still get excited just like a little kid at Christmas every time I put them on. I’ll never go back to my XXX’s . . . I was going to keep them as my “back-up” pair, but there’s no point in hanging on to 2nd best, so off to the 2nd hand shop they go.

  180. Jennifer on Mon, 15th Oct 2007 3:21 pm

My son has used the XX’s and XXX’s and loved them. For that reason, we got him the XXXX’s this year. They suck! Brand new and they kill his feet. They were sized correctly and have been looked at twice by our local pro shop. Apparently, several people had brought theirs back in complaining of sore spots around the feet. They skate geniuses thought, apparently, that it’d be a great idea to change the way the boot fits. Well, be happy about your changes, guys, because you lost a long time customer. I cannot afford to spend that kind of money on a product that he cannot use for any length of time. It’s really a shame that you had to go and ruin a good thing.

  181. Chicks'n sticks on Wed, 24th Oct 2007 8:40 pm

I am in the middle of picking skates right now, I currently have the Reebok 9k’s but there beginning to break down. The stiffners in the sides have gone, which is brutal seeings there only 8 months old. I did love them while they lasted though. So what I have narrowed it down to is the Reebok 9k special edition (white) or the Vapour XXXX’s. I understand that the Vapours are a bit stiffer of a boot then the Reeboks but will they have the comfortability that the Reeboks have? Weighing the difference is hard cuz nothin is worse than skates that hurt your feet if not tied precisely. How do you choose???? Its frustrating!!

  182. James Kakos on Mon, 19th Nov 2007 11:49 pm

  183. G on Mon, 3rd Dec 2007 3:07 pm

If you have large pointy ankle bones, stay away from the XXXXs…the ankle padding is insufficient for people like us. It is virtually non-existent after three weeks of breaking in, which equals excruciating pain.

  184. michael on Sat, 8th Dec 2007 1:13 pm

amazing skate great acceleration and power comfortable and lightweight they’re a little heavier than the 0ne90s but it still rocks the boot is stiff and has a lot of ankle support too

  185. michael on Tue, 11th Dec 2007 4:11 pm

why, do you guys care about looks, the skate performs 5out of5 in these catoagories
    accelleration
    power
comfort unless you have bony ankles
durrability, but I’ve only had these for six months, but I’ve skated on them for atleast 350 hours!
    lightness
    explosive strides
stops and starts both kinds of starts, the run on the toe thing or crossover on toes, but my skating coach told me there are 6 quickstarts

Best purchase on a skate I’ve made!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also want to try the one 90s and the one 95s

  186. John on Wed, 12th Dec 2007 2:08 am

Hey guys…….., if the boot is too stiff relative to one’s weight (which for many it is) the skate is worthless. Too many (ignoramousses) buy the “higher” end boot solely because it is “higher” end. The boot has to flex in order to deliver better performance. It’s all about fit, fit, fit combined with proper flexation and please, a tendon guard that flexes. No flex in the tendon guard = no toe snap/less power, as well, less overall balance.
Regardless of the Vapor series performance characteristics…….., the new color scheme is beyond ugly.

I hope they’re more durable than the One 90’s. I loved those skates comfort wise but, they just didn’t stand up to my 220 lbs frame. That just really grinds my gears that these are made in China. I am trying to decide betweent the XXXX and the new One 95. Is there anywhere I can read comments on them from others?

Also, last pair of XX I got 8EE, not sure if that was the salesmans idea or what I really needed. I wear size 9 shoes, and I know an 7.5 to 8 skate is probably right, but the EE I am not sure of. I have neve had a wide foot that I know of and I may want D.

Where is the closest place to buy either of these skates and try them on with someone who really knows skate fit? I would travel a ways to make sure they fit.

    THanks

i’m probably getting these skates tonight but b4 i do quick question. can you break these skates in easily???

For those complaining about the break in period, skates are suppose to hurt for the first few weeks. This is how you get the customized feel. Yes, the new heat molding process reduces the time, but if your feet aren’t a little sore when wearing them for a bit, then you’ve been improperly fit.

Too many skate companies (RBK, Mission etc) are making skates so they feel really good when you first put them on, but these skates break down quickly and fit poorly after only a couple months. I had this happen to a pair of Mission’s that felt awesome at first.

You want a skate that takes some time to break in, that way you know the skate will hold up longer. Any hot spots or pressure points can be resolved by punching. A decent HS should do this for you free of charge when buying new skates. I have a pair of 40’s and love them, but they took a bit to break in. Whatever brand you decide to go with, make sure you are properly fit and that your feet get a little sore after about 10 mins of wear in the HS.

Great skates. Light but stiff. Very great feels like its part of your foot more of a wide boot but amazing I have them I love them.

Ohh my god, who gives a shizz if its not proper roman numerals. Doesnt an “X” stand for 10 any ways? Last time i checked bauer wasnt roman and a silly number on the boot doesnt determine if the skate is good or not. Whoever complained about this should grow a pair and go back in your hole. Stop wasting peoples time.

As far as style i think they look classy and sexy, about time with all the boring black and white. Whoever said the runner and steel broke or arent quality is full of it. You dont get better than the LS2. This boot will not hurt your foot if baked and broken proper, ohh yeah learn to get the proper size skate for your foot, ever think of that? Sound like a bunch of softball players. Ill check all you sissy skaters…
