The NHL Digest quote of the day comes from Christoph Schubert of the Ottawa Senators who responded to Bill McCreary’s accusation that he was faking an injury after being speared by Toronto’s Chad Kilger.
“The referee (Bill McCreary) was yelling at me and telling me to stop acting. I asked him how he would feel if he got speared in his ‘two little friends.’” said Schubert.
