Reebok 10K Hockey Stick

April 4, 2009 by Tyler

Reebok has followed up their success with the RBK 9K O-Stick from last season with the new Reebok 10K hockey stick.

About The Reebok 10K Stick

The 10K is currently being used by Patrice Bergeron, Robert Nilsson, and Jason Spezza (see below) among other NHL stars. The new 10K features a simple black shaft and blade with white block letters spelling Reebok along the mid-upper portion of the shaft.  The 10K insignia adorns the upper portion

of the side of the shaft, while the Reebok logo is features on the sides of the blade near the heel.

More information on the development, structure and performance of the stick will be added after we complete a thorough review of the stick.

Buying The Reebok 10K Stick

There is no official word from Reebok as the the release date for the new 10K stick, but some have speculated late in 2008 or early in 2009.

Total has been the first online store to offer orders for newly released equipment in the past, so I suspect that they will be the best bet if you are looking to be the first to get your hands on the new Reebok 10K.

reebok cant make a good hockey stick get an s17 or kronik (i think the s17 is better though)

  2. bob on Wed, 22nd Oct 2008 7:29 pm

the 10k doesnt come out till next summer and it will cost 230 dollars but i have one because my friend works for the ducks.
and every s17 in the nhl is fake its actually just a synergy they just paint it

  3. Beasty on Fri, 24th Oct 2008 7:27 am

S17′s are fine if you like throwing away money. They break too easily!!!

  4. chives on Tue, 28th Oct 2008 4:51 pm

10k is too much money. buy the S17 its totally beast or the 9k

  5. nik on Mon, 3rd Nov 2008 7:42 pm

s17′s suck 10k’s will be way better

  6. nathan on Tue, 11th Nov 2008 6:00 pm

s17 are alright, but they do break abnormally fast, i find the rbk 9k-0 actually last alot longer then most composites, probably because the ares around the holes is intensly reinforced, i have no idea why people think the rbk 9k-0 break so easy, rbk isnt that stupid

  7. CLee17 on Thu, 13th Nov 2008 5:40 pm

i got one just recently, and there awsome!!!!
s17 are cheap, and break easy

  8. Wayne Sims on Fri, 14th Nov 2008 8:33 pm

very satisfied with the 9k best stick I’ve ever used

  9. tony on Wed, 19th Nov 2008 1:01 pm

the 10k stick is coming out in 2 different versions, one is going to be the new redefined “O” stick and the other is going to be without. the O stick will be called something else, but the stick will be coming out in february or march. i know the rbk rep so i pretty much know when things will be coming out. the 10 k stick will not be super light, but it will be in b/t the weight of the U+ stick and the O stick. also new materials in the blade will make it feel like the puck catches on the stick instead of bouncing off like regualr composite sticks.. dont worry about the price people, they will be cheaper than the s17′s (which are garbage btw) but they will be quite expensive..i will have the privelage to play with the stick a couple months before it actually comes out

  10. colton ridgeley on Fri, 21st Nov 2008 1:54 pm

i got a 10K and its amazing, very light, s17′s arent the best, o sticks, 10K’s and even 7k’s are some of the nicest sticks around

  11. Castle on Sat, 22nd Nov 2008 7:27 pm

The s17 aren’t not a good investment unless you love paying 200 on a stick like every week. Kronik can go screw its self another fail by warrior, I am actually looking forward to this stick i think they have done some major improvements. Wait for the new o-stick, a lot better than the old one, they kinda look like the 10k but holes.

  12. Kyle on Mon, 24th Nov 2008 8:43 pm

the RBK Sickick GenII is the best stick i ever used .. i hope the 10K is going to be out too. ( FLYERS RULE )!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  13. Jordan on Mon, 24th Nov 2008 11:55 pm

I think you should get the warriors new dolomight it is called the dolomight spyne and it has two spynes like the kronik if you go on warrior you will see the sick stick and i went to my nearest hockey shop and i saw it it is so sick and i am getting one i have the s17 and it is ok then i got the new nike bauer one 95 and it is ok so get the spyne

  14. juzlz on Tue, 25th Nov 2008 12:17 am

10ks are probably gonna be sick. s17′s are kinda iffy and breakable.pisses me off

  15. Jordan on Tue, 25th Nov 2008 11:02 am

my friend had had 5 broken s17 stealths in 2 months so there junk

  16. bob on Wed, 26th Nov 2008 2:14 pm

ok the new o stick is already out and its a 9k it doesnt look anything like the 10k iddiot

  17. reebok on Mon, 1st Dec 2008 2:49 am

The new O stick is actually called the 8.0.8. and is similar in looks to the 10k. there are white holes in the black stick with decals in the same location. very similar looking sticks.

  18. jp on Thu, 11th Dec 2008 10:35 pm

I heard the 10k was made with a wodden blade fused to the rest of the stick so its still a one piece stick.

  19. sneaky pete on Sat, 13th Dec 2008 7:44 pm

I don’t understand why no one here has mentioned the nike bauer one95. it is an amazing stick, and amazingly durable. almost every week you see new people in the nhl using it instead of their old sticks (a certain guy named ovechkin who used to use a ccm (same as reebok) is now rockin the one95). its an amazing stick and will last longer than the 0stick, S17 and all the warrior garbage.

  20. hunter on Sun, 21st Dec 2008 10:06 pm

  23. Tony on Sat, 27th Dec 2008 5:32 pm

i think the 10k is he best stick,,i have it cause i know the pittsburgh penguins, and it has perfect flex and its amazing,,,,,,,,,,,but the s17 is horrible because wen it gets thinner on the bottom thats were they all broke,,i broke 5 of them

  24. austin on Sun, 28th Dec 2008 7:54 pm

i think s17,s are good but yeah they break so easy this stick is probably gonna be sick though

  25. edieboy on Mon, 29th Dec 2008 4:05 pm

I think that the BBK 10k will have a sick shot cause it has the sweetest curve. i think it was a waste of eastons money to make all the new eastopn synergys i fid the older eston synergys are much better

  26. Steven on Wed, 31st Dec 2008 12:50 pm

Ya i have an s17 they do break 2 easily. I am looking forward to the 10k but im not sure.

  27. Dakota on Mon, 5th Jan 2009 8:56 am

  29. chris on Mon, 5th Jan 2009 10:51 pm

get an s17 they are way good and my friend said he saw getzlaf wearing s17 skates

  30. bob on Tue, 6th Jan 2009 9:12 pm

s17 everything sucks the new se16 is the same stick as the synergy elite
and getzlaf has 5 pairs of s17 skates and changes eveery period cause they suck

  31. Shane on Wed, 7th Jan 2009 8:39 am

you all act like your sooo sick breaking S17′s and your denying the fact that it is the lightest and best stick on the market. unless your playing in the USHL OHL or NHL just keep your comments to your self because you probably cant even shoot.

  32. Thomas on Sat, 10th Jan 2009 4:02 pm

why is everyone going through 5 or 7 s17′s? once you go through 1 a month, isnt it obviously a crap stick? I have a nike bauer one 70, and it’s good enough. buying 5 s17′s or any other top of the line stick is just a waste of money.

  33. rob on Fri, 23rd Jan 2009 6:31 pm

10k is sick and the s17 does break to easy the 195 is a great stick but i prefer the synergy elite 16 (se16) over both of them because even though it is the same as the old se it has still lasted me longer. and so i dont get flamed for saying this and that i cant shoot because i dont play USHL OHL or NHL. I do play d2 college hockey

  34. me a russia on Wed, 28th Jan 2009 2:08 pm

  36. matt on Sat, 7th Feb 2009 11:49 pm

ok the s17′s not bad but it is to expensive for how good it is ive seen and played with the 10k its great and the 9k o stick sucks no offense but it blows and personally the 10k a one95 and an s17 are all better than a warrior but seriously just go with what you feel

  37. tanner on Fri, 13th Feb 2009 4:14 pm

i have an s17 right now, i had a u+ pro it was garbage, way to whippy for me, but i like the stiffness of the s17, is the one95 whippy like the u+?

  38. hockeylax22 on Fri, 13th Feb 2009 6:08 pm

Hey you guys, I play Pee-Wee AAA hockey and i have already tried out all the new dolomites and other worrior sticks like the New bentley. Also the reebok 10k. i have a pro stock 1 that is broken. When i tried out the stick reebok wouldnt let me keep the stick due to identidy probs. I got it from an OHL game. The stick you see above is the 10k BUT the regular one that is coming out march april is totally differant. Not in the designes but in the color of them. If you go on youtube hockeyus does a review on it. The logo is a grey sparkly type color. The pro stock ones have white STICKERS on the shaft. Yes they are stickers. Also the shaft is spray painted then carefully disigned by reebok. The 10k has a great feel and great shaft. I perferd the 10k over the new worriors.

O here are some insiders on some new equipment for 09 and 10.

S17 suck so much.!!!!!!!!!! I hate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!The day I got one it broke in half and so I got a 9k stick and it was awesome and I loved it. I would recomend it to all of my friends. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON BUYING ONE OF THOSE PIECES OF CRAP S17′S. THEY SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!

  40. Reese on Sat, 21st Feb 2009 8:47 pm

I cant wait for this stick to come out
    they look awesome
Also they dolomite spyne is a wicked stick except for the
fact that i have gone through 2 and they have both broken in
    the same spot.
S17′s are shit i broke 4 in a month and a half earlier in the season

And to correct sneaky pete ovechkin doesnt use the one95 he has gone back to the U+ since he cam back from russia and seeing his grandfather earlier this year.

  41. de on Sun, 22nd Feb 2009 4:57 pm

over the last couple seasons I’ve used every manufacturer and here is how they stacked up for me
    Warrior – 5 sticks averaging 20 – 25 games per
    Nike/Bauer – 2 sticks averaging about 20 games per
Easton – 3 sticks averaging about 20 games per
Rbk – 3 sticks averaging 3-4 games per

I only use the most expensive models. The Rbk’s broke (2 were O sticks and neither lasted 2 games) but Warrior’s and NB’s went limp and they are now being used in minor hockey by kids who otherwise can’t flex an adult stick.

  42. ugine on Tue, 24th Feb 2009 1:31 pm

Im 10 and i bought the reebok 10k stick off ebay thats you best deal because when the 10k and 808 sticks come out there going to be 250 and up I got mine for 179.99 easton s17 is the worst stick out on the market my friend broke one on a wrist shot with no flex.

  43. Patrick on Thu, 26th Feb 2009 12:04 pm

well i have a s17 and a 10k i think that the 10k is much better and it provides a way better shot then the s17 and the s17′s don’t break easy dont be stupid with it and it wont break

  44. Jack on Sun, 1st Mar 2009 12:10 pm

the 10k reebok is coming out soon and im on the waiting list. i broke 6 s17s the give a good velocity on your shoot plus the shaft is thicker.

  48. panthers rule on Sun, 8th Mar 2009 8:12 pm

the S17 sucks!!!! I broke 3 of them oone stick handling, another by hitting the goal post when the goalie tripped me and another one by a person tripping me hitting the stick which cracked then hit the boards and it snapped. Get the 10k it rules I got it from a game

  52. Billy on Sat, 28th Mar 2009 2:10 am

You guys are all pussies. Every knows Easton makes the best sticks. Anyways if you guys are breaking 7 a month, then why are you still using them? Are you stupid?. The original Synergy will be better than the 10k.

    S17′s, SE’s, SE16′s, SL’s, ST’s, Synergy’s, Si-Cores=Best Sticks.

  53. tim on Sat, 28th Mar 2009 7:33 pm

  54. john on Sun, 29th Mar 2009 10:11 pm

Don’t buy this stick!!!! i have had two of these sticks and its not worth the money. I’ve never broken a stick and i broke one stick after four games and the other one in two games.

  55. ALEX on Tue, 31st Mar 2009 8:59 am

    what stick is it?

  56. Matt on Fri, 3rd Apr 2009 12:29 am

I’m not sure why so many kids are hyping the Easton S17. The stick is fragile and breaks too much. Too many kids are spending their parents’ $$$ on junk sticks because of the “cool” factor and do not want to admit the S17 is junk compared to the other sticks out there. The One95 is a pure shooter’s stick and will last longer. I’ve got 2 of the 10k pro stock shafts and they’re very light and much more robust than any Easton OPS out there. If you’re breaking sticks, dont be an idiot, go to a 2 piece like the pros.

  62. Jordan on Thu, 21st May 2009 8:51 am

Well i think the s17 sucks because it breaks so easy (broke mine yesterday) and i think the 10k sucks and i would wait for the new rbk 8.0.8 new Ostick it dose not break as easy as the 9k!

  63. michael on Thu, 28th May 2009 6:26 am

i like more the 10k i have it i think it’s the best

  64. Wayne Sims on Sun, 7th Jun 2009 8:51 am

I have a S17 and RBK 9k o stick. I picked them both up pretty cheap so price is not an issue for me. I got the 9k last year and admit it is probably the best stick I have ever used. My shot is wicked it says its a 100 flex but feels more like 85. It is also a pro stock stick.

The S17 I just bought back in february the first time I used it I was loving it shot was good and fast. Stick hanling felt good and I also must say it is thicker than the o stick so it to attracted a lot more pucks I felt like a puck magnent.

After a while of not scoring with the s17 I switched back to the o stick and finally broke out again. I must say my shot is more controlabe and harder with the o stick. The s17 feels good stick handling but I feel my shot isn’t as controlable or nearly as hard.

I played just the other day and I was going for a loose puck with my s17 and so was another guy are sticks both came together going for the puck when I got back to the bench I noticed a crack in the eliptical taper of the stick. So even on durability the O stick wins. Definately going to stick with the reebok line or the bauer one95.

  65. Eric on Sun, 14th Jun 2009 9:07 am

OK the S17 and warriors are good sticks but i think that the 10k will be better because RBk didnt put most of there effert on making it look good and flashy like all warriors the worked on the srick blade and shaft long to make sure you get ur moneys worth.
The 9K O-stick is coming out soon and it looks sweet they have changed the Green to Black and more Holes on the stick i think it will be good>

  66. mitch on Sat, 27th Jun 2009 12:04 pm

I currently have a nike bauer vapour valocitiy , a 120$ stick that i have done fairly well with over the past year. this year i was thinking about going to get a top of the line stick like the 10k , rbk 8.0.8 o stick , nike bauer 195 or maybe may be an easton. from what i have heard eastons are usaaly lite but break to eassily . I have personally never broken a stick in my life and im 14 years old and ihave a firly hard shot . when it was last clocked my slap shot was 60 mph. what stick should i get.

  67. mitch on Sat, 27th Jun 2009 12:09 pm

Im looking for a stick for taking decent shots with a low kick point and could puck control without a large curve it should be good for passing thats why i prefer straiter curves that curve at the top.

From what i have heard the s17 is shit and the 10k is okay. but i would definatly choose the one 95.( its a little whippy at first but itll calm down)

i have also narrowed my stick selection down to 5 sticks

reebok 10k, easton synergy elite, nike bauer one95, ccm u+, and easton stealth CNT.
i was able to find a stealth cnt for $150. a year ago it cost $300

I have a 195 I have been using it for about 3 weeks since I broke my rbk 9k for the second time after getting it fixed. It was an amazing stick I loved it I used it for just over a season. The one95 is absolutly amazing. It’s so light has amazing curve patterens and is just great. I am getting my vapor x60 tomorrow it is on it’s way to me right now I am so excited for it they look so sick. They say it is the exact same as the I one95 but with a different paint job and name.

i hate reebok sticks they don’t fit me

  79. Trev on Sun, 10th Jan 2010 2:26 pm

I have had a variety of sticks, ive used the Warrior Dolomite, i broke it in 5 games. They gave me another one cause of my warranty, and its also breaking in the blade, as my other one did. I now have 2 reebok 10ks and ive used it about 25 games and it is holding up great. Im getting a one95 soon and it seems to feel sturdy. I love the reebok 10k tho. highly reccomend the datsyk curve if you have a good wrist shot or snap shot.

  80. curtis on Mon, 11th Jan 2010 4:26 pm

i have purchased 2 reebok 10k’s in a month and a half and both have broken in the exact same place after just 4-5 games use. im not at all impressed by the durability of these sticks however performance and feel is great. As for the warrior kronik i have also owned one of these and of course it broke as well however im didnt like the feel of this stick. i have also been the owner of an easton s17 and liked the feel for the first few weeks but after a short period of time it seemed as if the stick was like a junior and was flexing on even as little as a pass. not impressed however of these three it is the only one still in one piece.

  81. Willie on Wed, 13th Jan 2010 10:45 am

i’ve owned 2 rbk 10k’s and the tip of the blade has begun chipping after a few uses on each stick.. i seem to have this problem with s17′s also but not as quick as with the 10k.
