Roberto Luongo Save of The Year

Since coming to Vancouver, Roberto Luongo has been absolutely stellar for the Canucks.  With a less than tremendous offensive effort from stars like Markus Naslund, Luongo and the Dancing Sedin Twins have been carrying this team on their shoulders for the majority of the season.

Just when you think that a goaltender is hot and cannot possibly get any better, Luongo goes and pulls off this amazing save.
Enjoy the video below, you’ll probably have to watch it a few times…I did.

Awesome save, just goes to show that you should never give up.

Luongo has definitely been stellar this year, too bad the rest of the Canucks haven’t been half as good.

[...] The Anaheim Ducks thoroughly outplayed the Vancouver Canucks and deserved to win Game 5 and advance to the next round of the playoffs.  If it were not for Roberto Luongo and his marvelous play, the Canucks would have been nowhere near the Ducks on this night. [...]
