Video of Sidney Crosby’s Pyramid Trick

I recently shared this video uploaded to Youtube by Reebok on Twitter and several people commented that it had to be staged.

The video shows Sidney Crosby shooting at a pyramid of pucks stacked on the boards. Crosby picks the top puck off of the pyramid with a wrist shot, misses another wrister and then takes a slapshot that eliminates the pyramid from the boards.

After the slapshot is taken, one puck rolls along the top of the boards and Sidney picks that puck (a moving target) off with one final wrist shot.

So, is it real or staged?

Real, real, REAL. Whomever doubts Crosby’s abilities needs to go watch a simpler sport, like badminton. Idiots.

real, but not all one take…look when he shoots the second last puck, there should only be one puck left on the ice, but after he shoots what should be the last puck (the one that hits the moving target), two more pucks are on the ice behind him…?

“two more pucks are on the ice behind him” actually they were thrown there when he hit the pyramid with the slapper. You can see them fly up in the air, you just dont see them land.

real but not all one take?! What more does the guy need to do in order to prove himself? Top scorer in the league, top points, Stanley Cup, Olympic Gold, WJ Gold…and he’s only 23!
